Program Pathways Mapper Release Notes | Version 2.1.0

Helping High School Students See Their Pathway to College

Program Pathways Mapper (PPM) now supports Dual Enrollment. High school students can explore courses and programs and filter pathways that help them make progress toward a degree or certificate while still in high school.

This release also gives high schools and college counselors a shared, reliable source for accurate course and program information, improving coordination across both sides of the pipeline. Students and families can see which courses are available at their high school, how those courses align with college programs, and how completed coursework can contribute toward a guided college pathway.

What’s New

Dedicated Dual Enrollment Experience

Colleges can enable Dual Enrollment and add course and program data in the PPM Admin Tool. Once enabled, students see a Dual Enrollment card on the PPM homepage, a direct entry point to participating high schools.

Explore High School Pathways

Students select their high school to view its programs, courses, and career pathways, giving them a school-specific view of the opportunities open to them before they graduate.

Clearer Pathway & Course Mapping

Dual Enrollment courses are visually identified within program maps, so students can see how their high school coursework aligns with community college requirements and future degree pathways.

Credit and Transfer Visibility

Students can see how college-level coursework completed through Dual Enrollment may apply toward Associate and Bachelor’s degree pathways and transfer.

Better Counselor Alignment

High school counselors get accurate, school-specific course and program information, and closer alignment with college counselors gives students more consistent guidance.

Benefits for Students & Counselors

Students can make informed academic decisions earlier, connect their coursework to their goals, and see how high school contributes to a college pathway. Counselors and advisors get a shared, reliable source of pathway information that supports better advising, reduces conflicting guidance, and strengthens communication between high schools and colleges.

With Dual Enrollment in PPM, students can see the path from high school coursework to their college and career goals before they graduate.
