Your Experience, Our Priority Committed to Security, Privacy, and Accessibility for All
Privacy Policy
At Program Pathways Mapper (PPM), we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring accessibility for all users. We only collect limited, non-identiable information, like browser type or site activity, to help improve PPM, and we never sell or rent your data. Any information shared with trusted partners is used solely to support services such as technical support or research. Sensitive details are never collected without your consent, and your personal information is safeguarded through secure systems.
We also use cookies to improve your browsing experience, but you can manage those through your browser settings. In line with federal and state guidelines, we comply with privacy laws and follow strict accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) to make PPM usable for everyone.
Terms of Use
PPM is a web application operated by the Foundation for California Community Colleges (FoundationCCC) that helps students explore clear course pathways, transfer options, and career opportunities, while supporting colleges in advancing Guided Pathways and Vision 2030 goals. By using the platform, you agree to the Terms of Use, which may be updated as the service evolves. Users must use PPM responsibly, and accounts may be suspended for unlawful or prohibited activity. Data collected follows PPM’s Privacy Policy, and while user feedback or contributions may be used to improve the platform, ownership of that material remains with the user. The service is provided “as is”, meaning PPM does not guarantee error-free performance and is not liable for damages arising from its use. All content is protected by copyright under the FoundationCCC and partners, and the agreement is governed by California law.
VPAT
(Voluntary Product Accessibility Template)
The Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) details how PPM’s technology meets accessibility standards, making our tools usable and inclusive for all students, including those with disabilities. To receive a copy of the PPM VPAT, additional information is required. Complete the following form, indicating what to include in the request.
HECVAT
(Higher Education Community Vendor Assessment Toolkit)
The Higher Education Community Vendor Assessment Toolkit (HECVAT) is a trusted questionnaire used across higher education institutions and organizations to review how technology providers handle security, privacy, accessibility, and compliance. It gives us a clear way to demonstrate our practices, so institutions know their data and systems are safe. By using this standard, campuses can reduce risk and cost while gaining confidence that sensitive student and institutional information is well-protected.
